What gets you pumped up before a game? Any rituals or superstitions? Playing T-ball with my brother when I was four years old. What's the first baseball memory you have? I had two older brothers growing up who always played and I wanted to be like them so I followed in their footsteps.Ħ. If you could play for one MLB team what team would that be? It makes it a lot of fun to be around the boys all the time.Ĥ. Our team is very close with each other because it's a small school. If your coach asked you to speak to a recruit, what is the one thing that makes SMC baseball different than another college? The first game of the year after that they're all the same.ģ. Is there any team/game you are looking forward to playing? There were 120 guys trying out so I decided to go to a four-year school right away.Ģ. I chose Saint Mary's because I was committed to a top junior college and then realized I didn't want to go through the process of making the team. is scheduled to start for the Gaels on Friday's this year, and will be one of the staff aces to an already experienced and talented rotation.ġ. In his freshman campaign, he made 15 appearances on the mound, recording a 1-0 record with a 3.38 ERA. Anderson was the only SMC pitcher to notch a complete game on the year.

In 2010, he led the team with five wins and a 4.19 ERA, while recording three complete games. In his sophomore campaign, he was the Friday starter for Saint Mary's, leading the team with 103.0 innings pitched last season. The righty has been one of the mainstays his last two seasons on the bump for SMC, as he has started 14 games, making 29 appearances total appearances on the mound.
